School Profile

Granger Elementary is one of three rural schools in Sweetwater County School District #2, serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade in the town of Granger.

We have four staff members who are dedicated to creating a positive, rich educational experience and to serving the unique academic, physical, social and emotional needs of every individual student.

The school is located in the rural Sweetwater County town of Granger at an elevation of 6,723 feet where the transcontinental stage line route once met the Oregon Trail. Today there are numerous natural gas wells that operate amidst sagebrush grasslands and herds of antelope.

The school is the heart of the Granger community. Our community members are highly involved in and supportive of school events and express pride for Granger Elementary and its history.

We welcome new students and encourage families considering settling in the area to visit Granger Elementary as part of their decision making process.
